Fannin County, TX — October 16, 2025, Deborah Gallion and one other were injured after a truck accident around 5:40 p.m. on US Highway 82.
According to officials, the crash happened east of Bonham near the intersection of US 82 and County Road 2907.
Investigators said that 63-year-old Deborah Gallion was in a Ford Escape going westbound along the highway. A Chevy truck with two trailers in tow was going the same direction. Authorities say that the truck was going at an unsafe speed when it crashed with Deborah Gallion’s car.
As a result of the accident, Deborah Gallion was seriously injured. A passenger in the truck had non-life-threatening injuries. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

As serious as this accident was, the details aren’t entirely clear. Authorities say a truck was going at unsafe speeds, but why did that happen? Was this just a driver being irresponsible? Was this a work truck rushing to meet a deadline? Was the driver not experienced driving with loaded trailers?
These kinds of questions both for victims and for the general public. For one, the more evidence people have at their disposal, the better their outcomes are likely to be. Secondly, these questions can help tell the difference between a driver making an isolated mistake and more serious issues behind the scenes which might put others at risk if they’re not addressed.
