Accident Report

Magnolia, TX — March 24, 2026, Dayinera Robinson was injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident at about 10:20 a.m. on F.M 1488.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2003 Mack semi-truck was heading west on Magnolia Boulevard/F.M. 1774 when it allegedly ran a red light and hit a southbound 2019 Ford Escape, causing the smaller vehicle to overturn. Two other southbound vehicles, a 2008 Ford F-150 and a 2008 GMC Sierra, also were damaged in the crash.

The driver of the SUV, 28-year-old Dayinera Robinson, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

The GMC driver suffered minor injuries, the report states, and the other two drivers were not hurt.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Montgomery County crash at this time.

How Did This Accident Occur?

Initial reports blame this crash on a semi-truck running a stop light in Magnolia, but this accident still deserves a full investigation.

What if there was an issue with the traffic signals at this intersection? What if the truck had an issue with its brakes that prevented it from stopping?

These scenarios may seem far-fetched, but I have seen enough over the course of my career to know that we won’t truly know what happened at this intersection until investigators gather enough facts to reveal the true sequence of events. That is what comes from their review of evidence at the scene, data from the vehicles’ engine control modules and any available video footage of the crash.

Authorities may need to work with a qualified expert to determine if the Mack truck had any mechanical problems that might have contributed to the crash, since most agencies don’t have the training for such examinations, in my experience.

The injured driver and her family deserve to know exactly how this crash happened, with facts proven out during a thorough investigation.
