El Paso, TX — June 19, 2024, David Perez and Marcos Miranda were injured following a car accident just after 9:45 p.m. along Montana Avenue.
According to authorities, 41-year-old David Perez was traveling in a southbound Nissan Sentra attempting to exit a parking lot and enter Montana Avenue in the vicinity west of Wedgewood Drive when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a T-bone collision occurred between the front-left side of the Nissan and the front-end of a westbound Ford F-250 pickup truck occupied by 19-year-old Marcos Miranda.
Perez suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. Authorities state that Miranda may have sustained minor injuries, as well. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
