The cause of the crash remains unclear right now. With single-vehicle wrecks, it’s important to consider what exactly authorities are looking into. Single-vehicle accidents aren’t often seen as a high priority, so officers might not dedicate enough time or effort into getting the answers the victim’s loved ones need.
Did the vehicle have a defect? Did a tire blowout? Was the victim unlawfully over-served by a bar? Did they experience a medical emergency? Are there issues with the roadway itself? Investigators need to be able to at least rule out these kinds of possibilities so families aren’t left with doubts or unanswered questions. It’s one of the reasons a lot of folks end up looking for avenues independent of authorities so they can be sure they’re not missing anything important.
