Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
A head on collision like this can result in very complex accident scenes, and it’s important to know what all authorities are looking into.
Have they secured electronic data from the vehicles? Did they pull phone records? Is there any video of the crash? Have the vehicles been inspected for defects?
Too often, I see authorities just glance at surface-level details and move on without digging any deeper. For victims and families to get the help they need, though, they need clear evidence. If investigations are too hasty or shallow, that can’t happen. That’s why I can only hope steps were taken to give this crash they attention it deserved.
