Crane County, TX — May 25, 2024, Daniel Magdaleno Morales was killed as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 1:00 a.m. along Interstate 20.
Preliminary investigations say that the accident happened near mile marker 89 northeast of Monahans.
Investigators said that 48-year-old Daniel Magdaleno Morales was on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle going eastbound on the interstate. In events not clear, the motorcycle lost control and overturned along the side of the interstate.
Due to the accident, Daniel Magdaleno Morales was killed. Authorities did not report anyone else being involved in the accident. Additional details are unavailable.

I can only hope authorities came up with more information behind the scenes for the victim’s family here. It would surprise folks how often I looked over a motorcycle wreck weeks or months down the line, and it turned out authorities just moved on without ever actually getting the whole story. That’s why motorcycle accidents sometimes require more thorough independent investigations to finally get to the bottom of what actually happened and get the victim’s family the answers they deserve. It remains to be seen if that’s true here, as well.
