Greenville, MI — January 10, 2026, Daniel Evans was killed as the result of a flatbed truck accident at around11:45 a.m. off Greenville Road.
Investigators said that the accident occurred at a business in the 6600 block of Greenville Road, just off Eastern Avenue.
According to officials, Daniel Evans was working to unloaded scrapped machinery at the business. After doing so, authorities say the flatbed was lowering back down. Somehow, Daniel Evans was caught between the truck and the bed. Daniel Evans sustained fatal injuries.

Work accidents can be challenging enough on their own, but this involving heavy machinery (which needs to be inspected for potential defects) as well as happening at a 3rd party company’s business can creat significant hurdles in the investigations.
