Accident Report
Bryan, TX — June 20, 2026, Daniel Castillo was injured in an alleged drunk driver accident just after 9 p.m. on North Texas Avenue/State Highway 6 Business.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2008 Pontiac G5 was heading south when it collided with a northbound 2009 Ford Edge while turning left onto Northside Drive.
Ford driver Daniel Rodriguez Castillo, 56, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
The Pontiac driver, 54, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15, the report states.
The 7-year-old boy riding in the Pontiac suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to the report.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Brazos County crash at this time.
