July 17, 2026, Damon McFarland was injured following a car accident at around 8:55 p.m. along Sam Page Road.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened off Sam Page Road and Bar K Ranch Road, north of Longview.

Investigators said that 47-year-old Damon McFarland was in a Jeep Gladiator going southwest along Sam Page Road. The vehicle somehow left its lane, and it crashed. Damon McFarland reportedly sustained serious injuries due to the crash.
