Bexar County, TX — January 14, 2026, Damien Kisner was killed as the result of a motorcycle accident that happened around 9:30 p.m. along US Highway 90.
Preliminary information about the accident reported by KSAT says that it took place near mile marker 556 of US 90.
Many details cannot be confirmed right now, but it appears 21-year-old Damien Kisner was on a motorcycle traveling from Medina County to Bexar County. Authorities say that Kisner’s motorcycle crashed along US 90, resulting in fatal injuries.

It’s always important to take early reports on a crash with a few grains of salt—no matter how straight forward the details may seem. Ultimately, the news generally only reports what authorities give to them, and authorities don’t usually release much more than a very cursory explanation of what all went wrong. A proper, thorough accident reconstruction can take weeks or even months, so there’s no telling what new details could come to light.
But that’s not to say a victim’s loved ones should just wait around for answers. My experience is that families who follow up early and often with authorities tend to have the best outcomes. It can keep them up-to-date on any new details investigators uncover, or it can show them when authorities might be coming up short so they can bring in more thorough independent investigators. Either way, it’s a chance to ensure the victim’s loved ones at least know they’re getting the whole story. That should always be a priority. Simply looking for someone to blame isn’t going to do anyone any good.
