Accident Report

April 23, 2026, Dallas Starr was killed due to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident around 9:13 p.m. along Sky Harbour Drive.

Investigators said that the incident occurred near Sky Harbour Drive and Reed Road in north Granbury. According to officials, 40-year-old Dallas Starr was on foot at the time along southeast lanes of Sky Harbour. While there, a Honda Accord reportedly struck Dallas Starr. Due to the collision, Dallas Starr was killed.

How Did This Accident Occur?

At night on a rural road, it’s possible that the victim just wasn’t clearly visible, and the driver had no way of avoiding them. However, it could be that there were extenuating circumstances. I’ve seen incidents where pedestrians had their phone light on trying to flag down vehicles. Or, they might be next to a disabled vehicle with its hazards on.
