Right now, specific circumstances can’t be confirmed, though authorities mentioned investigating alcohol as a possible factor. It could be this is due to how common it is late at night. But despite how common alcohol is, it’s rarely ever straight-forward. One thing that often slips through the cracks, for example, is negligent alcohol provider responsible for the crash. If it’s found that a bar unlawfully over-served someone, and that led to them getting themselves or someone else hurt, the bar could be responsible for the resulting injuries. That makes crashes like this potentially a lot more complex than folks may realize. That’s why it’s very likely preliminary investigations aren’t likely to give anywhere near the full story.
