Accident Report

Houston, TX — July 4, 2026, Cruz DeJesus Martinez and four other people were injured in a car accident at about 9:45 p.m. on McHard Road/F.M. 2234.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2012 Toyota Scion and a 2015 Nissan Versa collided at the intersection with Hiram Clarke Road as the Nissan was turning left.

Nissan driver Cruz DeJesus Martinez, 69 and three minors were seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. He was traveling with a 13-year-old girl, a 3-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl, while another 13-year-old girl was listed as possibly injured.

The Toyota driver, a 73-year-old woman, was seriously injured as well, the report states.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Fort Bend County crash at this time.
