Houston, TX — May 9, 2025, Cristian Tejada was killed as the result of a car versus motorcycle accident around 10:10 p.m. on Hollister Road.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened near the intersection of Hollister Road and Hammerly Boulevard.
Investigators said that 23-year-old Cristian Tejada was on a motorcycle going southbound on Hollister. Somehow, a collision with a Lexus occurred, ejecting Cristian Tejada. Following this, a Toyota Corolla struck Tejada a second time.
Due to the accident, Cristian Tejada was reportedly killed. No other injuries were reported. At this time, authorities do not report any pending charges.

I certainly don’t know anything more about this wreck than what’s been reported publicly already. However, I have extensive experience with accidents involving motorcyclists. It’s important to make sure authorities haven’t hastily jumped to any conclusions in their investigations.
Frankly, a lot of people are biased against motorcyclists, assuming the worst without actually considering any evidence. Authorities are not immune from this, and sometimes taking a second look at a motorcycle wreck can show they missed important details in their initial efforts.
Hopefully authorities have been more thorough here so the victim’s loved ones know they’re getting the whole story, but it’s just not something I would take for granted.
