Calhoun County, AL — December 13, 2024, Cristian Soto was killed in a truck accident shortly after 11:30 a.m. along Airport Road.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Cristian Soto was traveling in a Ford Fusion along Airport Road in the vicinity west of Oxford when the accident occurred.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate, however, that, for unknown reasons, the Ford Fusion was allegedly involved in a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler. After the initial collision, reports state that the Ford was involved in a secondary collision with a Chevy Silverado. Soto incurred reportedly critical injuries as a result of the accident; he was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. However, he was later declared deceased.
