San Antonio, TX — July 1, 2025, Cristian Fernandez Delacruz was killed as the result of a work accident that happened on Night Star.
According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the accident happened in a residential area off the corner of Marbach Road and Loop 1604 in west Bexar County.
Right now, factors surrounding the accident are unavailable. OSHA did not publicly confirm a cause for the accident. It’s also unclear if investigations are ongoing. No further information is available to report.

It sometimes surprises people to see so little information from an organization like OSHA. It might also surprise people to learn that sometimes, this is all workers’ families get to see, as well.
The fact of the matter is OSHA does not exist to do exhaustive investigations meant to give families the answers they need. Their job is to look for violations and recommend fines. This often leaves families in a position where if they want a proper resolution, they have to have independent investigators do their own look into the facts.
Sometimes, that will ultimately just confirm everything authorities already know. A lot of the time, though, it helps bring new information to light so the victim’s loved ones can get the full story.
