Initial details released in a preliminary OSHA accident summary says the incident happened at a business off Oakland Road and Stanzel Avenue in southeast Schulenburg.
Exact details about the accident are unclear. The OSHA report lists the incident that killed Craig Rainosek as relating to sheet metal manufacturing. It also possibly involved a crane.

How Did This Accident Occur?

What can make things particularly challenging, though, is just how long it can take OSHA to sort through all of the details. A lot of the calls I get from families about fatal work accidents happen because the families are still asking the same questions months later that they had on day one. OSHA simply has their own priorities to worry about, and they don’t always take the time to consider the needs of a worker’s family.
Considering that Texas has uniquely complex work fatality laws, this can certainly present challenges. So, if OSHA has as much information behind the scenes as they have in the public reports (which is to say almost none at all), that would be unfortunate yet not surprising. It would be good to hear, though, if authorities were taking steps to keep this worker’s loved ones in the loop about the investigations.
