How Did This Accident Occur?

When vehicles going the same direction on the highway occur, it’s usually the result of someone being on their phone, going too fast, or following too closely. Maybe that happened here, as well. Of course, investigators need to be thorough and rule out all kinds of other possible factors. Anything from brake failure to road hazards to a medical condition could cause a deadly accident like this.

What’s important is that a victim’s loved ones can be sure investigators are actually considering these things. Authorities aren’t always equipped for a complex, deadly commercial truck wreck. That’s especially true out in rural areas. So if a family follows up with authorities, and police can’t adequately answer questions or provide clear details, that can be a sign that the crash needs another look from independent accident reconstructionists to help ensure nothing important slips through the cracks.
