Harris County, TX — May 3, 2024, Corrissa Bass and two others were injured in a car accident just before 6:45 p.m. along Huffmeister Road.
According to authorities, 52-year-old Corrissa Bass and a 13-year-old girl were traveling in a northbound Hyundai Kona on Huffmeister Road in the vicinity south of the Tuckerton Road intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Kona was rear-ended by a Volkswagen Tiguan occupied by a 36-year-old man. This collision led to a secondary collision as it pushed the Kona forward into the rear-end of a Toyota Rav4.
Bass sustained reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; the juvenile that was with her in the Kona suffered minor injuries, as well. The man from the Volkswagen apparently received moderate injuries, too. All three were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
