Harris County, TX — January 6, 2024, Corina Tadeo Piñeda and one other were injured following a car accident at around 9:50 a.m. along Lake Houston Parkway.
Preliminary details about the accident released by authorities say that it took place in the area of North Lake Houston Parkway and East Sam Houston Parkway.
According to officials, 24-year-old Corina Tadeo Piñeda was a passenger in a Hyundai Sonata which was going northbound along Sam Houston Parkway. Crossing over Lake Houston, it appears that the Sonata collided with a Toyota Tundra which was also going northbound. The Sonata then ran off-road and crashed into a sign.
As a result of the collision, Tadeo Piñeda and the person driving the car had apparently serious injuries. There were no other reported injuries resulting from the crash. At this time, no further information about the accident can be confirmed.
