Parker County, TX — February 25, 2024, Colt Bourland was killed following a truck accident just after 6:45 a.m. along Interstate Highway 20.
According to authorities, 40-year-old Colt Bourland was on foot apparently assessing damage to his Toyota Tundra from a previous accident on westbound Interstate Highway 20 in the vicinity where it merges with I.H. 30 when the accident took place.
A westbound Kenworth truck approaching the location of the previous accident was purportedly unable to avoid a collision, as well. Officials indicate that it collided with Bourland and the Toyota. Bourland incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
