When it comes to commercial vehicle accidents like this, there’s even more of a concern about how investigations are being handled. I talk a lot on this blog about how authorities don’t often have the tools or time to handle intricate investigations into a vehicle’s condition and rule out things like maintenance issues or defects. For large, complex commercial trucks, that’s even more true.
As such, it can be important after crashes like this to ensure authorities have taken proper steps to secure the vehicle and make sure it gets a proper inspection from specialists. If not, then important details about the accident may go unnoticed.
