Montgomery County, TX — May 22, 2024, Colin McKeen was killed following a motorcycle versus car accident shortly before 6:45 p.m. along League Line Road.
According to authorities, 35-year-old Colin McKeen was traveling on a westbound Kawasaki motorcycle on League Line Road in the vicinity east of Interstate Highway 45 when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Volkswagen Atlas SUV on League Line attempted a left turn to head north on a private drive at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to westbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the motorcycle and the SUV.
McKeen suffered critical injuries as a result of the wreck, according to reports; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of his injuries, having there been declared deceased.
