How Did This Accident Occur?

It is not clear from initial reports on this crash which vehicle had the right of way. That is something that investigators must figure out while looking into this accident. I expect investigators to scrutinize evidence from the scene, witness statements, data from the vehicles and any video footage of the crash to piece together what happened.

If authorities cannot provide enough answers to satisfy the victim’s family, they may seek an independent investigation into the crash. That also may be necessary if anyone suspects a mechanical problem contributed to this accident, since in my experience most law enforcement agencies don’t have the resources for such examinations.
