UPDATE (January 30, 2024): Authorities identified the motorcyclist killed in the crash as 32-year-old Clayton Craig.

Houston, TX — January 28, 2024, a motorcyclist was killed as the result of a car accident at around 1:00 a.m. along the Southwest Freeway.

According to investigators, the crash happened along the northbound lanes of the freeway in the area of the intersection with Kirby Drive.

Officials said that an unidentified motorcyclist was going along U.S. 59/I-69 at the time when they reportedly attempted to exit the freeway. While doing so, however, the motorcycle and another vehicle collided. This threw the motorcyclist from the bike.

As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
