Irving, TX — January 28, 2024, Christopher Lane Johnson, Franklin Whaley, and one other were injured after a car accident at 12:30 a.m. on Highway 161.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened along southbound lanes of the freeway near Rochelle Road.
According to officials, 28-year-old Christopher Johnson and a 27-year-old woman were in a Toyota Corolla going along Highway 161. Behind the Toyota was a Lincoln Town Car driven by 50-year-old Franklin Whaley. For reasons not confirmed right now, the Lincoln reportedly crashed into the Toyota.
Whaley reportedly had serious injuries as a result of the crash. Johnson and his passenger may have had minor injuries, according to authorities. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
