Cherokee County, TX — September 17, 2025, Christopher Cross was injured due to a car accident at around 4:09 a.m. along US Highway 175.
Investigators said that the accident happened on Frankston Street near Pineda Street.
It appears that 30-year-old Christopher Cross was in a Nissan Altima traveling southbound. While doing so, the vehicle somehow lost control and left the roadway. It then crashed into a culvert.
Christopher Cross was seriously injured, authorities said. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.

One of the most common concerns folks come to me with is that authorities aren’t giving their side of the story the attention it deserves. That’s a perfectly valid concern, and sometimes it turns out authorities really did jump to conclusions or move on without considering possible factors a driver wouldn’t be able to avoid.
