How Did This Accident Occur?

A lot of people see flashy cars like Mustangs involved in a single vehicle crash and just assume the driver was being reckless. I think those people fail to consider just how many serious car accident cases I’ve handled where the driver who screwed up was in a meek sedan or a minivan. The truth is all kinds of drivers make mistakes, but—more importantly—all kinds of unavoidable factors can lead to a serious crash.

Tire blowouts, vehicle defects, roadway hazards, people unlawfully over-served by a bar, poor lighting or signage, medical emergencies, swerving to avoid other reckless drivers, etc. Some factors are more common, some less. The key is that they get the same attention from experienced, well-equipped professionals who can ensure nothing important slips through the cracks.

So, if authorities can show that they’re look into all possibilities here, that’s good. Otherwise, if they’re letting bias get in the way of the facts, then perhaps the crash would be better off in the hands of independent investigators.
