Accident Report
Dallas, TX — August 11, 2026, a child was injured in a car accident at about 4:45 p.m. in the 10300 block of Elam Road.
Authorities said a man named in a domestic disturbance report drove away as police approached, crashing into three other vehicles near the intersection of Elam Road and North Masters Drive.
A 5-year-old boy in one of the vehicles, a Chevrolet Equinox, was hospitalized in critical condition after the crash, according to authorities.
No other injuries were reported.
The fleeing driver, a 54-year-old man, was arrested on multiple charges, including causing serious bodily injury while evading arrest, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Dallas County crash at this time.
