LeFlore County, TX — September 1, 2026, Chelsea Patterson was killed and two others were injured in a truck accident at about 2:30 p.m. on U.S. Route 259 near Octavia.

Authorities said a southbound car overturned after crashing into a semi-truck that was turning onto Zafra Road.

Driver Chelsea Patterson, 37, of Honobia was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities, while two passengers suffered unspecified injuries.

The truck driver was not injured, authorities said.
