An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the afternoon hours of October 5th. According to official reports, Charlyn Freeman was travelling in a Honda CR-V on Boat Club Rd. in the southbound lanes, near Hawrylak Dr. when a GMC Acadia coming from a private driveway failed to yield the right-of-way and pulled out in front of Freeman. causing Freeman to strike them.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Freeman had sustained serious injuries and transported Freeman to the hospital.
