Fort Bend County, TX — February 10, 2024, Charles Freeman, Sang Vong, and one other were injured after a car accident at 9:15 p.m. on West Bellfort Avenue.
Authorities said the crash happened west of Houston at the intersection of West Bellfort Avenue and Ennis Road.

According to officials, 30-year-old Charles Freeman was in a Hyundai Azera going westbound along Bellfort. At Ennis, it appears a southbound Honda Accord failed to yield, entered westbound lanes, and collided with the Hyundai.
Due to the collision, Freeman sustained apparently serious injuries. The driver of the Honda had moderate injuries, as did a passenger in the Honda, identified as 54-year-old Sang Nam Vong.

Right now, it’s said alcohol may have contributed to the crash. If that’s confirmed, it raises questions about whether or not an outside party is responsible for the victim’s injuries. If investigations show an alcohol provider over-served someone, and that led to a serious crash, the alcohol provider can face fines, administrative penalties, civil liability, and even criminal charges. Maybe nothing like that happened here, but it raises the possibility there may be more to this story.
