Houston, TX — June 29, 2024, Cesar Borja was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 11:00 p.m. on the Katy Freeway.
According to information from authorities, the accident took place in the area of I-10 and North Eldridge Parkway.

Investigators said that 49-year-old Cesar Borja was in a Ford Escape going westbound along the interstate. Somehow, a Dodge Charger going the same direction crashed into Borja’s vehicle. Authorities say this resulted in Borja sustaining bodily injury. The other driver allegedly left the scene of the accident, and Harris County officials filed charges.

If the allegations are true, one thing that remains unclear is why the driver left the scene. It’s rarely due to panic about the accident itself. More often, there’s something they don’t want police to know about. Did they have warrants? Were they coming from a local bar? Did they have something illegal in the vehicle? Finding out could mean that these reported hit-and-run charges are just the tip of the iceberg.
