San Antonio, TX — July 11, 2026, Carmen Torres was killed in a car accident just after 9 p.m. in the 9200 block of South Zarzamora Street.
Authorities said a southbound vehicle hit a pedestrian who was crossing the street near the intersection with Gillette Boulevard.
The pedestrian, 63-year-old Maria Del Carmen Torres, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
The vehicle driver tended to her until emergency medical personnel arrived, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Bexar County crash at this time
