Corpus Christi, TX — November 24, 2023, Carly Landry and four others were injured following a car accident at around 10:00 p.m. on Interstate 37.
According to investigators, the crash happened along southbound lanes of the interstate in the area of Tuloso Road.
Officials said that 32-year-old Carly Michelle Landry was a passenger in a Ford Fusion along with a 39-year-old man and two boys, ages 10 and 8. They were going along the interstate when it appears a Chevy Silverado somehow failed to control speed and crashed into the Ford Fusion. This sent both vehicles off the side of the roadway.
Due to the collision, Landry and the other three occupants in the car had apparently moderate injuries. The driver of the pickup had apparently serious injuries. Authorities say the pickup driver may have been drinking prior to the crash. Other details are unavailable right now.
