Harris County, TX — December 4, 2025, a man was killed as the result of a car accident along Windhaven Terrace Trail.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened just off West Road and Windhaven Lake Drive.
The exact time of the crash isn’t clear, but reports say authorities were called to the scene around 4:00 p.m. It appears a vehicle had been going along the roadway when it ran off the road and overturned into a pond.
Rescue teams removed the vehicle from pond, and they found an unidentified man inside. Authorities have ruled the death an accident, but the cause of the accident remains under investigation.

Like any serious car accident, a significant goal going forward should be preserving as much evidence as possible. Cellphone records, vehicle data, the vehicle itself (it should be inspected for potential defects), markings on the road and leading to the pond, analysis of the vehicle’s tires, nearby homes which may have video cameras, etc. The more evidence a family has telling the victim’s story, the more likely they’ll get the answers they deserve.
