Victoria, TX — November 11, 2023, two people were injured in a car accident just after four o’clock in the morning along Houston Highway.
According to reports, a 62-year-old man was traveling in a westbound Lincoln on Houston Highway approaching the Zac Lentz Parkway intersection when the accident took place.
A 44-year-old woman was traveling in a Buick which was attempting to make a left turn from the eastbound lanes of Houston Highway onto Zac Lentz Parkway. For reasons yet to be confirmed, the Buick made the attempt at an unsafe time, resulting in a collision with the westbound Lincoln. The man in the Lincoln reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash; the woman in the Buick was also reportedly injured. Both were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
