March 12, 2026, a man sustained injuries due to a car accident that happened at around 6:47 p.m. along US Highway 65.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened several miles south of Warsaw at US Highway 67/MO-7 and Hilty Avenue.
According to officials, a 71-year-old man was in a Toyota Highlander going northbound on the highway. The vehicle went off the side of the road where it crashed into multiple vehicles. Due to this, the man driving the vehicle sustained serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported. At this time, no further information is available.
How Did This Accident Occur?
A lot of folks assume every single-vehicle crash is the result of a driver being on their phone or going too fast. Those are common factors, but they’re far from the only ones.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen countless factors lead to serious single-vehicle accidents. Too often, though, authorities barely scratch the surface, and families find they can only get answers by bring in independent professionals who can dedicate more time and effort to the investigations. Which way things may go here isn’t for me to say, but it would be far from the first time a single-vehicle accident was treated as a low priority.
