Authorities sometimes jump to conclusions when it comes to single-vehicle accidents. However, it’s always important to consider all possible factors—likely or not. Tire blowouts, vehicle defects, road hazards, issues with lighting or signage, faulty safety devices, and other details can easily slip through the cracks without a proper, thorough investigation. So if authorities are taking steps to look into all of this, they should be able to answer all questions and concerns thoroughly. Otherwise, if they’re missing something important, it may be up to more thorough independent investigations to get the full story.
