How Did This Accident Occur?
Vehicles crashing at an intersection usually means someone failed to yield, which is often a sign of something like distracted driving. Maybe that’s what happened here. However, it’s always important to consider possible extenuating circumstances.
Did someone’s brakes go out? Was someone unlawfully over-served by a bar or liquor store? Is there an issue with signage or traffic signals at this crossing? Were there other reckless drivers involved who left the scene?
At the end of the day, considering even unlikely possible factors helps give everyone a fair shake and avoids letting important evidence slip through the cracks. In my experience, that’s a whole lot more effective for everyone involved than just focusing solely on the most likely explanation.
If anyone saw what happened here, let me know if I’m missing any important context.
