Accident Report

June 10, 2026, one person was injured due to a car accident shortly after 11:00 p.m. along Slaughter Lane.

According to authorities, a 37-year-old man was traveling in a westbound Nissan Altima on Slaughter Lane near the Southpark Meadows Drive intersection when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Altima failed to appropriately control its speed. It was consequently involved in a sideswipe collision with a westbound Chevrolet Camaro occupied by a 20-year-old man.

The 37-year-old reportedly sustained serious injuries over the course of the accident. The 20-year-old may have been hurt, as well, according to reports.
