San Antonio, TX — September 20, 2024, one person was injured following a car accident shortly before 9:30 p.m. along Burnet Street.
According to authorities, two people—an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man—were traveling in an eastbound Jeep Liberty on Burnet Street in the vicinity south of the Gevers Street intersection when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Jeep failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly collided with the left side of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and trailer that had been parked and vacant on the right side of the roadway.
The young man who had been in the passenger seat of the Jeep suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck, according to reports. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
