Accident Report

July 20, 2026, one person was injured due to a car accident at approximately 9:30 p.m. along Sam Houston Parkway.

According to authorities, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Sam Houston Parkway in the vicinity north of Beechnut Street. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, one vehicle was apparently parked at an improper location. A collision consequently followed between a Chevrolet Traverse and a Mercedes-Benz car.

The 26-year-old man who had been behind the wheel of the Mercedes-Benz reportedly sustained serious injuries as a result of the wreck.
