Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One of the challenges with crashes involving teen drivers is authorities might begin and end their investigations at the accident scene. They already figure a teen driver will be reckless, so their scope ends up being too narrow. As such, getting the full story sometimes requires input from independent investigators who will follow the evidence wherever it goes. That way, the victims and families involved can make steps forward with as much information in their hands as possible.
