Port Arthur, TX — February 29, 2024, one person was injured in a car accident at approximately 7:00 p.m. along Twin City Highway.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Twin City Highway in the vicinity northwest of State Highway 73.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, one of which was overturned during the course of the accident. The occupant of the overturned vehicle was allegedly trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated upon the arrival of emergency personnel. Once they were freed, the victim was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment of injuries incurred due to the wreck. No other injuries have been reported.
