Accident Report
March 8, 2026, one man was injured following a rollover car accident sometime after dark along Park Road 5.
According to authorities, a man was traveling in a passenger vehicle on Park Road 5 in the vicinity east of the Mack Dick Pavilion when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the vehicle allegedly experienced a tire blowout. It consequently veered off of the road and rolled a couple of hundred feet down hill before coming to a stop.
The man—who had been able to walk from the wreck to the pavilion—reportedly sustained injuries of unknown severity over the course of the accident. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.

Was there a sensor in the car that malfunctioned and failed to notify the driver of necessary maintenance? These are all important questions that should be addressed in the investigation.
