Pampa, TX — December 27, 2023, one person was injured in a car accident that took place just before 9:00 p.m. along Miami Street.
According to reports, a 22-year-old man was traveling in a southbound Saturn Ion on Miami Street approaching the Beryl Street intersection when the accident occurred. Miami Street reportedly ends at the three-way intersection.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Saturn failed to turn either right or left at the intersection. Rather, it allegedly continued straight across the east and westbound lane of Beryl, drove over the curb, and collided with a gas meter and a fence. The 22-year-old sole occupant of the vehicle incurred suspected severe injuries due to the crash; he was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment.
