Hidalgo County, TX — January 1, 2024, a man was injured following a single-vehicle accident at around 7:30 a.m. on Oleander Drive.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the accident took place in the area of Oleander Drive and North Moorefield Road.
According to officials, four men were in a Dodge Ram truck on a driveway along Oleander. Two of the men, a 25-year-old and a 28-year-old, were riding in the bed of the pickup. As the truck was turning onto Oleander, authorities say that the 25-year-old fell from the truck, resulting in serious injuries.
Right now, it appears no one else was injured. Charges were recommended but can’t be confirmed right now. Investigations are ongoing.
