Midland, TX — January 14, 2024, at least one person was injured in a car accident that took place just before 5:00 a.m. along Midland Drive.
According to reports, a 22-year-old man was traveling in a northbound Chevy Malibu at allegedly high speeds on Midland Drive approaching the Raleigh Court intersection when the accident took place.

A Ford F-150 occupied by two people was reportedly attempting to make a left turn from southbound Midland Drive onto eastbound Raleigh Court when, officials indicate, the passenger side of the pickup truck was struck by the northbound Chevy Malibu. The two occupants of the pickup truck allegedly fled the scene of the accident.
The 22-year-old man incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. It is unknown, at this time, whether or not either of the other two people involved sustained injuries, as well.
