Dallas County, TX — November 5, 2023, two people was injured following a car accident at around 6:45 a.m. along Interstate 20.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements to the public that the crash occurred along eastbound lanes of the interstate in the area of F.M. 740.
According to officials, a 32-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were in a Mazda going along I-20. That vehicle apparently left its lane and crashed into the guardrail before overturning along the median. Sometime after this, a second vehicle hit a portion of the guardrail reportedly in the lanes of travel following the initial collision.
Authorities allege that both vehicles were unoccupied when they arrived on the scene. They say they located the driver and passenger of the Mazda, who had apparently serious and moderate injuries, respectively. Alcohol was mentioned as a factor, but those details can be confirmed right now.
